Can you take the time to help a new ham get started? Would you share your knowledge and help a kid find a new hobby that may eventually help them pick a career or just make a lot of friends? Someone probably helped you get started in ham radio. They may have even shared some old equipment with you, helped you build and antenna or just given some good advice. Be that person for someone else. Take the time to share your hobby and preserve Amateur Radio for years to come. If you would like to volunteer to be an Elmer to a new ham, send an email to the webmaster using the form on the home page. If we find a potential ham that needs a mentor, we'll match you up. Thanks! Currently we have volunteer Elmer's from the following communities. Feel free to email them directly, or if no email is listed, email the webmaster (address is on the home page) and we'll put you in contact. If you're already a ham and would like some help getting started in a new mode, we've also listed the Elmer's particular interest or expertise so you can find just the right person.
